Orographic rain

This week we learnt about orographic rain because that is the type of rain we get on the West coast. We watched a video and took notes, then we had to make a slide showing you how it works with a paragraph. I enjoyed getting to make the diagram. I found it challenging to write the paragraph. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could make the paragraph longer and more detailed.

Water cycle animation

We had to make something to show the water cycle. My table chose to make an animation. I enjoyed getting to make the animation. I found it challenging to get good photos. To be BTB (Better Than Before) we could add Emma in, even though she wasn't there.

The Toothfish

After looking at different aquatic ecosystems we had to design a fish and write a paragraph about how the fish is suited to the aquatic ecosystem we chose. I enjoyed getting to make the fish. I found it challenging to think of reasons why it is suited to the open ocean upper region. To be BTB(Better Than Before) I could add some more reasons why it is suited to the open ocean upper region.

Comparing aquatic ecosystems

Today we watched a video about the different aquatic ecosystems then we had to write the different things between them. This was kind of easy because I know a lot about aquatic ecosystems. I enjoyed getting to list different things. I didn't find anything hard because as I said before, I know a lot about aquatic ecosystems. To be BTB(Better Than Before) I could add more detail to the facts.
