Book report - Nest of Lies

Today we had to write a book report about our DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) book. I enjoyed getting to read Nest of Lies. I found it challenging to write what I thought about it even though I really liked it. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could add more detail.
Nest of Lies
Title: Nest of Lies
Author: Heather McQuillan
Type of book: Fiction

This book is about a girl, Ashlee Korbes, who is raised to believe that birds brought the plague. I really like who this book is full of adventure and I felt like it could have really happened. I would recommend this book to years 6 and up.

Book report - Power of three

WALT: write a book report about a book you have read.

 Title: Power of three
Author: Erin Hunter
Type of book: Fiction
I love these books and would recommend them to year 6 and above.
Power of three is one of the five Mini-series in the series warriors. Power of three follows Hollyleaf, Jayfeather and Lionblaze. They all believe in the prophecy that Jayfeather heard.
There will be three kin of your kin who will hold the power of the stars in their paws.
Warriors is a series of books about four/five clans ThunderClan, RiverClan, WindClan, ShadowClan and the forgotten SkyClan. Hollyleaf is black with green eyes and will do anything to follow the code. She kills Ashfur because she thinks he will get in the way of the code. Jayfeather is a blind grey tabby medicine cat who is focused on the prophecy. Lionblaze is a golden tabby who loves battle and believes in the prophecy.

Noah Barleywater Runs Away

Title: Noah Barleywater Runs Away
Author: John Boyne
Type of book: Fiction

This is an amazing book. I would recommend it to year 3 up. It is about an eight-year-old boy called Noah Barleywater. Noah runs away and meets an old man and his puppets. This is a truly magical book with moving trees, talking clocks and a wall-mounted timekeeping device. It also includes 14 amazing pictures of things in the book.
The tree was taking up its regular position when a young ruffian appeared out of nowhere and threw himself upon it, stealing three apples and causing one to fall off the branch and become bruised on the ground. Both tree and apples are being rushed to hospital doctors say the next twenty-four hours will be crucial.
