She had to spend 17 hours on the plane,16 hours on a bus and about 1 and a half hours in a ute. While she was in the ute she saw her first snake and they ran it over.

Year 6 tech (cars)

WALT to make a car powered by a balloon.
I enjoyed getting to be creative and think outside the box. I found it challenging to get the car to balance and make it move. I got to work with Emma and we made a chariot type car.

Enviro camp

A couple of weeks ago four students from our school went to Arthurs pass for an enviro camp. I was really fun we went on a lot of walks. Have a look at some of the photos. I enjoyed getting to lots of new activities like the canopy walk which is a walk where you hold a mirror up to your nose so you can only see the trees above you.

Noah Barleywater Runs Away

Title: Noah Barleywater Runs Away
Author: John Boyne
Type of book: Fiction

This is an amazing book. I would recommend it to year 3 up. It is about an eight-year-old boy called Noah Barleywater. Noah runs away and meets an old man and his puppets. This is a truly magical book with moving trees, talking clocks and a wall-mounted timekeeping device. It also includes 14 amazing pictures of things in the book.
The tree was taking up its regular position when a young ruffian appeared out of nowhere and threw himself upon it, stealing three apples and causing one to fall off the branch and become bruised on the ground. Both tree and apples are being rushed to hospital doctors say the next twenty-four hours will be crucial.
