Ecosystem drawing

After learning about the ecosystem yesterday we had to draw an ecosystem near our house. I decided to draw the paddock beside my house. After drawing it we had to label everything. I added magnifying glasses so I could draw the things you wouldn't see. I enjoyed getting to draw it. I found it challenging to get the cow the right length(I did it too long.) To be BTB(Better Than Before) I could outline everything in pen.

My hobbies/sports/activities

One of the extra for expert activities was to write about our hobbies. After a bit of thinking I worked out four hobbies/sports/activities I do. There are links everywhere. I enjoyed getting to write about them and do them. I found it challenging to get a photo of me farming. To be BTB(Better Than Before) I could add more hobbies/sports/activities.

Square roots

Today we had to work out the square roots of some numbers. I enjoyed getting to work out the square roots. I found it challenging to explain my work because I can't really explain how I did it, I just do it. To be BTB(Better Than Before) I could add more detail to how I worked it out.

Blood falls drawing

We had a can-do today and that was to read a description of a place and then draw it. I choose to draw Blood falls. Blood falls is a blood-red waterfall that is coming out of a glacier in Antarctica. At the bottom of the glacier, there are some rocks and a frozen lake, West Lake Bonney. If you want to try doing one the link is here:

I enjoyed getting to draw Blood falls. I found it challenging to work out what shape the glacier would be(I got it wrong). To be BTB(Better Than Before) I could do some more with different places.

Today we had to watch a video then write what the words meant and take a photo of it. I enjoyed getting to watch the video. I found it challenging to get a photo of the rain. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could add more detail to the meanings.

Squaring numbers

Today for maths we were given six numbers that we had to square. I found the last one the hardest. I enjoyed the first one because it was so easy. I found it challenging to think of some for others to do (This was not part of the activity. I just wanted to do it). To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could have more for others to do.

My pets

One of the extra for expert activities were 'Your pets' I made a slide with all of my pets. There are links everywhere. I enjoyed getting to take photos of all of my pets(Not all of the calves). I found it challenging to find out what breed the cat was. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could add more cows.
