My awesome composting form

WALT: Create a from about composting.
I found it challenging to think of questions. I enjoyed getting to create a form. To be BTB (Better than before) I could add more questions.   In Maori because it is Te wiki o te reo Maori

My Amazing Speech

WALT: write a 3 minute speech
We have recently been writing speeches for the rotary speech competition. I found it hard to find a Topic to do my speech about. I enjoyed getting to be creative when writing my speech. To make it BTB (Better than before) I could make it longer. I choose dogs because I love dogs and have a dog.

WAI: tuhia he korero 3 meneti Kaore ano matou i te tuhi i nga whaikorero mo te whakataetae rotory korero. I kitea e au he uaua ki te rapu i tetahi Thing hei mahi i taku korero. I pai ahau ki te mahi auaha ki te tuhi i aku korero. Ki te hanga BTB (Pai ake i mua atu) ka taea e au te roa atu. Ka whiriwhiri ahau i nga kuri no te mea he pai ahau ki nga kuri me te whai kuri.

Year 6 tech (Chips)

WALT: Determind which version makes the crispiest and tastiest chip.
We have made chips In the microwave. Max's group made chips in the oven. They were delicious. It was challenging to make them paper thin. I enjoyed getting to taste the two different batches.

Year 6 tech (Hokey Pokey)

WALT: Explain the science when hokey pokey is made.
We made hokey pokey. When we added the baking soda it all started frothing up because it released air into the mixture. I enjoyed getting to make hokey pokey because I like cooking. I found it challenging not to burn it. To improve it we could dip it in chocolate.

Year 6 tech (Cookies)

WALT: Explain the changes in the two batches of cookies
Over the past two weeks, we have been making cookies. Have a look at the video we made. I found it challenging to work in a small space with so many people. I enjoyed Getting to eat the cookies.
