WOTW (Word Of The Week)

 This weeks' word of the week was ascending. I was happy because I knew, and could explain what it meant. I enjoyed getting to find a picture. I found it challenging to find synonyms. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could find more synonyms.

Prediction - My Brother's War

 For literacy, we had to look at the front and back of a book to see what we thought it would be about. I think that this book with be interesting because it is by an author I like. I have read David Hill's book Se Ya, Simon. I enjoyed looking at the cover because it looks interesting. I found it challenging to write what I thought the book would be about. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could add more detail to my thoughts.

9 Times Tables Song

For maths this week, we had to make an 8, 9, or 12 times tables song. Miro, Miro, and I decided to make a 9 times tables song. I enjoyed getting to write the lyrics. I found it challenging to record because we weren't always in time, and I don't like my voice. To be BTB (Better Than Before) we could add an instrumental.

Our class had to write narratives after looking at a picture (On the cover). We had to include the picture at one point in it. I enjoyed getting to write it. I found it challenging to think about what will happen. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could make the cover more eye-catching.
