ReplyDeleteMy name is Rachel and I am working with the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) blogging programme. I can see that you have been working hard over the past few weeks on the SLJ. That's so cool! Welcome to the team!
I have been a member of the SLJ team for the past four years and I love my job. I have the chance to work with great students and learn all about New Zealand. I also have the chance to see some amazing art work. I loved the Griffin that you created in Activity #1. It reminds me of the Griffindor team in Harry Potter who have a mascot not unlike your beast. Speaking of Griffindor, I am going to spend some time this afternoon re-painting my son, Aronui's, room. He is eight years old and absolutely loves Harry Potter. I am trying to surprise him by fixing up his room and creating a feature wall with Harry Potter pictures while he is away visiting family. I can't wait to see the look on his face when he gets back!
