Three events

We had to plan three events we wanted to do this year because Matariki is a time for reflecting and thinking about what will happen next. The first two events are things that have happened before and I want to happen again. The third event is something new I want to do. I enjoyed getting to plan the three events. I found it challenging to think of the third event. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could add more detail with the why part.

  1. Great plans Lucy! It sounds like you will have a very busy year if you get to do all of the things you have planned. I like how you have linked your plans to the story you wrote from the day before, very clever. What kinds of things do you think you will learn at horse riding camp?

    1. At the horse riding camp you learn how to feed, groom, tack, catch and ride a horse. You get to do a treak on the morning and a two hour lesson in the afternoon. It's five days long.

    2. Wow, that sounds like a busy camp. Where do you go for it?

    3. It's in Christchurch I think.

  2. Hi Lucy, nicely done. I liked the way you explained what you're event planning had to do with Matariki. I also liked how you said it was important to you to keep in contact with family. I think that is one thing that the lockdown has taught me too. You have a lot great events planned. I hope you have fun at horse riding camp, Horses are great fun but believe me they take a lot of time and money to take care of properly. I also like how you've thought how you could make it better next time. Well done. Sharron
