Problem-solving

For maths, we did problem-solving in groups. Our groups were our tables. I enjoyed getting to do some maths. I found it challenging to do question 3 or 4 I can't remember what one it was. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could get a photo.

If I won lotto...

One of the blog contract activities was to say what you would do if you won lotto. I enjoyed getting to think about what I would do. I found it challenging to think of three things even though we didn't need to. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I would make the slide look more interesting.

Fractions to decimals quiz

I made a quiz on converting fractions to decimals. When you do the quiz you have three lives. I enjoyed getting to think of questions. I found it challenging to get it so you lost lives. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could add another question.

Matariki quiz

We had to do the quiz and I found it very interesting. Some questions were about Matariki but some were about the Maramataka. I learnt that the Maori name for winter is Hotoke, Rakauni was the Maori name for the full moon and that Takurura is associated with winter because it is the Maori name for Sirius, the star that appears in winter. I enjoyed getting to do the quiz. I found it challenging to answer the fifth question.

Perimeter challenge cards

We had to look at the perimeter challenge cards and answer them. There were twenty. I enjoyed getting to think about what the answers were. To be BTB (Better Than Before) I could explain my thinking.
