Hi Lucy!
ReplyDeleteActivity One:
It's great to hear you would like to watch a silent movie!
I think the closest thing I have seen to a silent movie is Wall-E, have you seen that film?
I think it's pretty impressive that for the start of the film there isn't much talking at all.
In order to get full points for this activity Lucy, you also need to tell us about which trailer you watched and what you think the movie might be about. In case you are a little stuck on finding the trailers here are links to them both:
1. The gold Rush: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDlEvaKBkhU
2. The Lions Cage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpjEyBKSfJQ
I will be interested to hear what you think! :)
Activity Two:
Thank you for sharing your rating on the art deco painting, you are right it is really realistic. So you can get full points for this activity I would love to hear some more of your ideas. Is there something in partiular you liked? Is there something you didn't like?
I really liked that the artist didn't use a lot off different colours in her painting because I think it makes certain things pop out like her lips or the car...I think this is also why some people don't like it though becuase it is too dull! - I will be interested to hear what you think Lucy!
Bonus:
This is an awesome acrostic poem Lucy! I liked the key words you have thought about, they reflect the events of the flight and what people would have experienced really well.
I also really like that you have added some Spanish to your poem! Very cool! Do you speak Spanish?
I think it would be really cool to be able to speak another language - Is there one you would like to learn?
Great job with these activities Lucy, you are doing really well!
Ellee :)
